Any form of interface between the end user/audience and the medium may be considered interactive. Interactive media is not limited to electronic media or digital media. Board games, pop-up books, gamebooks, flip books and constellation wheels are all examples of printed interactive media. Books with a simple table of contents or index may be considered interactive due to the non-linear control mechanism in the medium, but are usually considered non-interactive since the majority of the user experience is non-interactive sequential reading.

Pay Per Click

May 28, 2008 at 6:18 pm (Uncategorized) (, , )

One of the Online Marketing support services is the Pay Per Click or also known as PPC.

Pay Per Click is an advertising model used on search engines, advertising networks, and content websites/blogs, where advertisers only pay when a user actually clicks on an ad to visit the advertiser’s website. Advertisers bid on keywords they predict their target market will use as search terms when they are looking for a product or service. When a user types a keyword query matching the advertiser’s keyword list, or views a page with relevant content, the advertiser’s ad may be shown. These ads are called a “Sponsored link” or “sponsored ads” and appear next to or above the “natural” or organic results on search engine results pages, or anywhere a webmaster/blogger chooses on a content page. This is according to Wikipedia.

Google AdSense and Yahoo! Publisher Network provides this kind of advertising. They provide ads that are relevant to the content of the page where they appear, and no search function is involved.

It is categorized into two; the two major categories are “Keyword” or sponsored match and “Content Match”. Keyword or sponsored match displays the listing of a particular site on the search engine itself while content match features ads on publisher sites and in newsletters and emails.

However, there are other types of PPC engines that deals with products and services.

Keywords must be concise and related to your main topic. Keywords in URL is very important, we must be very careful and have a good choice in creating the keyword that you wish to optimized. For instance, http://www.outsouceit2philippines.com/outsource-company.html. Keywords in Header tags must be used in different words. For example if you need to highlight more that one word you must used different H tags like H1,H2,H3 and so on.
