Interactive media is the media that allows active participation by the recipient. In other words interactive media are those media that establish two-way communication.
Any form of interface between the end user/audience and the medium may be considered interactive. Interactive media is not limited to electronic media or digital media. Board games, pop-up books, gamebooks, flip books and constellation wheels are all examples of printed interactive media. Books with a simple table of contents or index may be considered interactive due to the non-linear control mechanism in the medium, but are usually considered non-interactive since the majority of the user experience is non-interactive sequential reading.

Yesterday I have discussed to my blog all about animation and the different approach to it. I said that in our modern day now with this new high technology that surrounds us it is now very easy to create an animation using our personal computers. Computer animation is the art of creating moving images via the use of computers.
It is a subfield of computer graphics and animation. Mostly it is created by means of 3D computer graphics, though 2D computer graphics are still widely used for stylistic, low bandwidth, and faster real-time rendering needs. The target of the animation is the computer itself or it is used in web designing, but sometimes the target is another medium, such as film. It is also referred to as CGI (Computer-generated imagery or computer-generated imaging), especially when used in films.
Macromedia flash is one of the software that is used to create animation. I particularly used it to create my animation but it is just my hobby. And sometimes I used it to create my flash presentation during reporting in our class. I choose macromedia flash because it is user friendly and so much fun when you created a cool animation.

Flip books are often illustrated books for children, but may also be geared towards adults and employ a series of photographs rather than drawings. It is the primitive way of doing animation.
